Ralph Duquette was diagnosed with leukemia in 2012 and his daughter Heather never thought he’d be able to walk her down the aisle on her wedding day.
Heather Duquette didn't think her father, Ralph, would be able to walk her down the aisle for her wedding last week. Ralph was diagnosed with leukemia in 2012, and it left him wheelchair-bound.

"I was a little nervous when I didn't see him down there as I approached the doorway to make my entrance," Duquette told BuzzFeed Life.
"I was standing in the doorway that opened out to the garden and patio. My DJ began to play the wrong entrance song for me to walk down the aisle with," she said.
Then, she saw her father move from behind a speaker: The DJ had played the wrong song to give him some extra time.

"It was a total surprise," the groom, Dan Casoria, told BuzzFeed Life.
